The core of dacadoo’s solutions is the Health Score, a number ranging from 0 to 1,000 which represents ‘real-time holistic health’. It is based on over 300 million person-years of scientific data, and normalized by age and gender to support global comparison and benchmarking. As a result, health is measurable and easy to understand for everyone. The Health Score is used for two things: 1. Engagement and 2. Risk Quantification (Underwriting).
When it comes to engagement, the Wheel of Life™ is a vivid feature of dacadoo’s Digital Health Engagement Platform. It leverages AI, gamification, social networking and automated coaching, aimed at healthier lifestyles and the prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD’s) and lifestyle-derived illnesses. The Wheel of Life™ is available either as a white label package or through API access and encompasses seven holistic aspects of health: mindfulness, physical activity, sleep, self-control (caffeine, alcohol, nicotine), nutrition, and physical & mental wellbeing.
As to dacadoo’s Risk Engine, the Health Risk Quantification, the Health Score is used to estimate risks for mortality and morbidity for any individual. With as few as four and as many as 100+ data points, it helps to determine the most pressing issues regarding an individual’s health risks. The Risk Engine allows life insurance underwriters to issue policies with confidence and speed, benefitting both customer and carrier.
